Financial Statement Preparation & Reporting Support
Monthly management accounts, annual financial statement preparation support and reporting schedules are prepared with reference to the applicable accounting framework, statutory requirements and agreed engagement scope.
Where applicable, support may include preparation of financial statements in Schedule III presentation format, management reporting packs, variance analysis and audit-supporting schedules. Engagement timelines are agreed in writing based on the scope of work, availability of records and reporting requirements.
Statutory & Management Reporting
Monthly management accounts
Preparation support for monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statement, balance sheet, cash flow summary and variance commentary, based on books and records made available by the client.
Annual financial statement preparation support
Preparation support for annual financial statements in the applicable format for companies and other entities, with reference to applicable Accounting Standards / Ind AS requirements, wherever applicable.
Consolidated financial statement support
Support in preparing consolidation workings, elimination entries and group reporting schedules, including treatment of minority interest / non-controlling interest, as applicable under the relevant accounting framework.
Quarterly variance commentary
Preparation of management-level variance commentary comparing budgets, actuals and material deviations, based on information and explanations provided by management.
Audit & Stakeholder Support
Audit-supporting schedules and documentation
Preparation of supporting schedules and documentation required for audit coordination, based on books of account, reconciliations and management records.
Segment & cost-centre reporting
Preparation support for divisional reporting, cost-centre reporting and departmental cost allocation for management review.
Investor / lender reporting support
Preparation support for reporting packs required for board review, lender reporting, due diligence support or covenant-related reporting, based on agreed scope and available records.
Ratio & trend analysis
Preparation of liquidity, leverage, profitability and other financial metrics with period-wise comparison for management review.
